Trust & safety
How we handle your data, in plain language.
Anonymity and privacy are load-bearing here. This page explains how that works, and flags the details our team still needs to confirm before launch.
Anonymous by default
You connect on shared experience, not your identity. You're never required to share your real name to be matched or to use the journal.
We collect as little as possible
We only ask for what's needed to run the service and match you well. We don't need your contacts or social profiles to do that.
Your journal is private
Your daily journal is for you. It isn't used to match you or shared with peers.
You stay in control
You can export or delete your information. Leaving a conversation, blocking someone, or closing your account is always your choice.
How anonymity works
When you join, you describe what you’re facing. Matching uses that, the challenge and not your identity, to suggest peers in similar situations. You approve who you connect with, and you can step away at any time.
What we store
To be confirmed by the mPathy team. This section will describe exactly what information is stored, for how long, and why. We’ll keep it specific and honest. Placeholder text won’t ship here.
Encryption & access
To be confirmed. We’ll describe how information is protected in transit and at rest, and who on the team can access what.
Your rights
- Access a copy of your information.
- Export your data.
- Delete your account and associated data.

Selling data
To be confirmed before launch. Our intention is not to sell your personal data. We’ll only state this publicly once it’s a verified commitment.
